What you will learn A course that will take you from the basics of intaglio printmaking through to advanced techniques such as aquatint and spit-bite etching. Experience level No previous experience is needed for this course. Beginners are welcome. Course programme You will learn drypoint, etching, aquatint and spit-bite etching. You will be using non-toxic etching chemicals and etching onto zinc plates. You will learn how to ink a plate and use the Rochat etching press to produce your prints. A range of teas, coffee and biscuits will be provided. What is included All basic materials such as paper, 100 x 100mm zinc plates, tools and equipment are provided. Additional paper and plates will be available to buy during the course or you are most welcome to bring your own. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and refunds If you cancel your booking more than three weeks before the course start date, you will be eligible for a refund, minus a 5% administration fee. I regret I cannot offer refunds for cancellations made less than three weeks before the course start date. At this point I will have already started making preparations including ordering materials, and it is less likely I will be able to fill your place. I cannot give refunds for failed attendance due to sickness or external circumstances. Transfers If you would like to transfer to another course, you can do this free of charge providing you let me know three weeks before the course start date. Bookings cannot be transferred with less than three week’s notice but if you are unable to attend on the day, bookings can be transferred to another person. In this case, please let me know as soon as you can so I can update the booking. Cancellation by Linden Print Studio Linden Print Studio reserves the right to cancel or postpone courses. If this happens I will try to give you at least a week’s notice and full refunds will be given.
