Booking and Paying for your Course


1. Booking

You can book courses via the Linden Print Studio website.  You can also make provisional bookings by emailing us.  If the course is full and we are unable to offer you a suitable alternative, we will put your name on a waiting list and inform you if a place becomes available. Until payment is received, the booking will be treated as provisional. Provisional bookings will be held for 7 days.


If you are making a booking on behalf of another person, please ensure that they are aware of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Group Bookings 

Groups of 2 or more adults will qualify for a group discount of 5% per person or a 10% discount for individual Cumbria Printmakers members and full-time students.

3. Transfer

If, after your booking has been confirmed, you wish to transfer to a different course or you wish to transfer your confirmed booking to another named person, we will make every effort to meet your requirements. Alterations made by you less than 7 days before course commencement will be treated as a cancellation of the original course booking and regarded as a new booking for a different course. Cancellation charges as in paragraph 4 may apply.


4. Cancellation

If it is necessary for you to cancel your booking, please inform us by email as soon as possible. It may be subject to cancellation charges as follows:

- Admin fee of £10 plus half the course fee will be charged if the cancellation is made less than 7 days before the start of the course, whether deliberately or by default.

- If less than 24 hours, the course fee must be paid in full, a condition which is accepted when the booking is confirmed.


5. Amendments

The course programme is subject to amendment. Linden Print Studio reserves the right to alter course programmes or engage alternative tutors if and as circumstances dictate. Linden Print Studio cancels a course only after careful consideration, but reserves the right to do so if numbers booked have failed to meet a minimum requirement or for other exceptional reasons. In this event, applicants will be informed as soon as possible and they will be refunded any monies paid in respect of that course. Linden Print Studio will not be liable for any additional cost or expense. 


6. Age Under 18

Our courses are designed for those aged 18 and above. If you are interested in one of our courses but are under 18 at the time of the course beginning please contact us prior to booking to discuss the content and its suitability.


7. Health and Safety

Participants booking with Linden Print Studio must agree to follow the safety instructions of our tutors at all times. It is important to recognise that participants each have a legal responsibility to take all reasonable precautions to maintain their own safety and not to endanger other members of the group.


8. Environmental Policy

Linden Print Studio has a commitment to looking after the environment. This includes minimising the environmental impacts of our courses and continually monitoring, researching and improving our courses, and using this research to educate and inform others.


9. Our Service to You

Linden Print Studio endeavours at all times to offer and provide a quality service and we will accept responsibility should our services prove deficient or not of a reasonable standard. We have tried to ensure that the website and these Terms and Conditions have all the information you need to book the right course.
