Service Description

What you will learn You will learn about repeat patterns using tessellating shapes, creating motifs that will create effective designs. You will print with acrylic fabric paints to create washable textiles Experience level No previous experience is needed for this course. Beginners are welcome. Course programme Design motifs, geometry and repeating patterns. Transfer to acrylic blocks. Colour mixing and preparing fabric. Print on fabric, possibly with more than one layer of colour. *Lunch* - you will need to bring your own packed lunch or Cranstons and Waitrose at Dobbies are just down the road if you want to do takeaway. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided during the day. What is included All basic materials such as acrylic blocks, self-adhesive foam and fabric will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own cotton/linen/silk fabric but pre-wash, shrink and iron it first. Preparing for the course Create simple designs based on triangles, hexagons, octagons and diamonds. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and refunds If you cancel your booking more than three weeks before the course start date, you will be eligible for a refund, minus a 5% administration fee. I regret I cannot offer refunds for cancellations made less than three weeks before the course start date. At this point I will have already started making preparations including ordering materials, and it is less likely I will be able to fill your place. I cannot give refunds for failed attendance due to sickness or external circumstances. Transfers If you would like to transfer to another course, you can do this free of charge providing you let me know three weeks before the course start date. Bookings cannot be transferred with less than three week’s notice but if you are unable to attend on the day, bookings can be transferred to another person. In this case, please let me know as soon as you can so I can update the booking. Cancellation by Linden Print Studio Linden Print Studio reserves the right to cancel or postpone courses. If this happens I will try to give you at least a week’s notice and full refunds will be given.
