Linden Print Studio update
January-February 2025
Happy New Year!
I hope you are all well. I haven’t got much to report except that things are ticking away nicely in the print studio. Courses are still running, the presses are still going, the underfloor heating is on! And the Artist’s Development Course with Laura M R Harrison started this week too with a lovely cohort of artists. And there’s already a waiting list for January 2026.
Glenn Tomkinson’s exhibition comes down this weekend and I’m putting up some old and new work of mine. My work is moving more towards ‘things not in frames’. I’m not putting prices on anything on the walls - if you want to buy anything for yourself please just make me an offer and I’ll likely accept. It doesn’t have to be monetary, it could be an artswap or a book or handmade thing you think I’d like. I’ll also be vending tiny prints and ephemera out of my vending machine, again no price tags, just a some pennies in the kitty box for my troubles. And there’s plenty of postcards and badges and whatnot for sale as well.
And if anyone would like to have a little exhibition and show their work in my studio, please send me an email with some ideas/images and I’ll give it due consideration. Exhibitions usually run for 3 months but we can make it 2 or 4 months, depending on you.
Courses are still running (see website) and membership/open access is still an option. More information about open access can be found here:
Exhibitions
Sheila Fell is on a Tullie until 16 March
Arcadia (revisited) at Florence Arts until 20 April
Again, if you haven’t been to the studio, just bob me a line if you’d like to have a look before you book on a course or become a member. I’m always up for a chat.
Best wishes and mind how you go,
Vega
