Hello All
Apologies for the long delay in putting out this update but all the family has been laid low by a hideous cough/flu/virus thing for a whole blinking month. But all better(ish) now!
I’ve not got much to say except that the new Course Programme for September 2019 – July 2020 is ready. It'll take me a few days to put these on the website, but if you're interested, bob me an email. There are some new courses on there, namely Kim Tillyer’s Heat Transfer Dyeing course and Heather Young’s Life Drawing and Monotype course. Sorry about the vagueness of pricing, we’re working these out, and as soon as I have them, I’ll let you know.
There's also a visit to the amazing Sprint Mill on Saturday 28 September, 12.00-3.30. If you haven't been there, it's like a museum, but better. I can't really explain. Pretty much everything there is good to draw or photograph, or just great to explore the space and use it for thinking. I'm limiting this to 10 people so that we can have a good craic and it's only a £5 donation to Sprint Mill.
I’m also running two 6-week Photoshop Courses. This will be a solid introduction to the professional image-editing software. I find Photoshop to be invaluable and extremely powerful. Not just for photographers but for me, a key way of working through some quite complex ideas to do with printmaking and processing images for website/social media/print. And based on my limited research, the price for the course is very reasonable! £20 per session or £100 for whole course.
Due to popular demand, the Artist’s Development Course is back. I’m running it from January 2020 to March 2020 and will cost £70 for 8 sessions over 12 weeks. Limited to 6 places.
