Update September-October 2019

Sprint Mill

Hi All

Happy September! After 6 weeks in Australia and HK, my garden has turned into a jungle but fortunately the print studio is all ship-shape and lovely, as usual.

I’ve done a few tweaks to the website, including changing the layout of the booking pages so please let me know if what you think, particularly if you have any difficulties. I’ve also attached my course list so if you can’t be bothered with all that digital rigmarole, just bob me an email.

There are still a few spaces left on the 6-week Photoshop Course starting 26 September if you’re interested. You can either book online or reply to this email.

If you would like to come along to Sprint Mill on the 28 September, it’s on the website too. If there’s enough people travelling in the same direction, I may be able to organise car shares or even a minibus. I’ve limited it to 10 people but I’m open to increasing numbers if required.

There are a few great exhibitions coming up:

Jill Jones is having a print exhbition at RSPB Geltsdale, contact the Visitor Centre for more information:

Fliss Watts’ thoughtful and challenging installation Living is easy with eyes closed is on at the Old Fire Station in Carlisle from 22-29 September – only a short time so you’ll need to be quick.

At Tullie House, Rembrandt: Prints from the British Museum is on from 19 Oct-5 Jan, and I’ll be running a drypoint workshop on 29 November, to tie in with the exhibition.

The EVAN Art Trail and Open Studios event has already begun and will run until 15 September. You can find more information on their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/edenvalleyartisticnetwork/

I think that’s all for now – looking forward to seeing you and best wishes

Vega
